We often take our life for granted.
How?
By lying to ourselves.
Do you know where is the problem?
We believe that we are always right and we never take our life seriously just because of this. We do injustice to ourselves by lying and believing that it is not a lie.
Let us know how we do this:
1) I have a lot of time
“Even though, I don’t have time today. But I will definitely have time tomorrow or on Monday or next year or after retirement.”
By telling such a lie to ourselves, we always postpone the tasks which are needed to be done today. By this, you are only consoling yourself that one day you will definitely achieve what you want. But in reality, you have no intention of doing it. If you really want to do it, you would never put it off for tomorrow.
Why can’t that one day be today?
If you really want to do that task from your heart, do it today.
Why are you leaving it for tomorrow?
Ask yourself to what extent that work really matters for you. If you can’t take time for your dreams today, then you can never be able to do that on any single day in future.
2) I will fix my financial situation soon.
A person keeps telling this lie throughout his life.
There is popular saying:
“If a person is born poor, it is not his fault, but if a person dies in poverty, then it is definitely his fault.”
It is not wrong to say that you will fix your financial situation soon. But here the problem lies in the thinking that what do you think about your financial situation.
What is the meaning of fixing the financial situation for you?
Whether to get a common job and meeting the household expenses or to fulfil your dreams and to achieve something big in life.
The day when you realise the real meaning of financial independence, you will realise the truth behind this lie.

3) I will definitely do this task from tomorrow.
We often wait for the right time to make things happen and often say that I will start this task from next week or from next month or from next year.
What is that magic that can only happen next week or next month or next year?
But it can’t happen today.
Nothing is going to change until you change yourself. The task which you can initiate from next week or the habit which you can inculcate from next month, why can’t you do all this today.
4) I’m too late to start.
Your age is just a number. If you want to achieve your dreams with full dedication and determination. Then it doesn’t matter what is your age or situation, your dreams are yours and will be yours if you keep this thinking away from yourself.
You are telling lie to yourself again and again that it is too late to start. If I can directly say that you are just making excuse for not doing something that you find a little challenging. This lie stops you from moving forward and growing in life.
5) I can’t do it
99% of the people in this world lie to themselves that they cannot do that. First of all, accept the truth that nothing is impossible in this world. It depends on your mind how much easy or tough you consider any work to be.
If instead of 99% people,100% of the people had kept this thinking, then believe me that there would have been no Neil Armstrong who dared to reach the moon.
If Arunima Sinha had the same thinking, then after losing both her legs, she would probably be crying for her whole life in regret. But no, her thinking was beyond the normal people thinking. She has seen the dream of climbing Everest and even proved herself and put up the flags of her success on the Everest.
These are people whose actions speak louder than their words. They made impossible things possible with their courage and a positive mindset.
Now you have to decide whether you want to become a part of that 99% of people or the remaining 1% of people. Our problem is that we don’t even try. By assuming things even before trying, we make things impossible or possible.
Our life is precious.
Why are you wasting your life by telling all those lies to yourself?
By doing all these, you are only deceiving yourself. You are becoming your culprit. Please don’t make any compromise with your life like this.
Take your life seriously.
