Welcome to my website motivational essence. In this post, I want to discuss a very important topic with you. It is how to control anger. Both positive and negative incidents keep happening in our daily life.

We feel happy about positive events but we get angry about negative events. Nowadays life has become so busy that we get angry at small things and this anger sometimes takes a formidable form due to which we have to suffer a lot.

Many people get into the habit of getting angry and there is anger in their minds all the time. When a person makes anger a habit, then even if he wanted, he is not able to control his anger.

Getting angry also has a bad effect on our health. Due to this, many people become victims of depression and their blood pressure also increases.

How can I control your anger today ?

So let’s discuss the ways to control anger. By adopting these methods, you can control anger and make your life happy:

How to control your anger?

1) Think before you speak

If you get angry, then whatever you say to the person standing in front, before speaking, think that you are not going to say anything wrong.

If you think it’s right, say so. Don’t talk loudly.

In this way, you will also be saved from speaking wrongly and your relationship with that person will also not get spoiled.

2) Change the place when you are angry

Whenever you feel angry, leave that place immediately. Apart from this, if the person on whom you get angry, immediately move away from him and go somewhere else.

The advantage of this method is that the place or the person on whom you have got angry is not in front of you which will help you to calm down soon.

3) Think good and prevent anger

This is a very good way to get rid of anger. If you get angry, you should start thinking of something good. For this, you can use your imagination. You can think about some happy old moments in your life or you can use some beautiful mental pictures to calm your anger.

4) Give up your bad habits

If you take cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol, drugs etc., then quit them immediately because all these things boost your anger.

Apart from this, all these things also have a bad effect on your health. It also costs money. Leave all these things and move towards a happy life.

5) Screaming and shouting in private

Whenever you are feeling angry, then immediately move away from that place to some isolated place and scream. By doing this, your inner anger comes out and you will start feeling calm. You will be saved from getting angry at someone else and you will feel good as well.

Friends, this method of calming anger is extremely good and effective. Sometimes I also try it and succeeded.

6) Learn to use self help words

If you use self-help words twice or thrice a day, then you will not get angry. You can use these self-help words:

  • I am a peace loving person.
  • I always think positive.
  • I am always happy, etc.

If you use these words then you can control your anger to a great extent. You can also create more self help words like this.

7) Waiting rule

It happens many times that someone has said or done something wrong which has increased your anger. You feel bad and usually go to that person immediately and say very bad things to him or do some physical harm to him.

If such anger comes to you, then do not go to that person immediately. Go after some time or in some cases go to that person after a few days.

Because by doing this your anger calms down over time and you are saved from doing something wrong. So follow the rule of waiting.

8) Do Positive Activities

The person should always be positive minded. Whenever you get angry, you should immediately start thinking something positive.

Instead of thinking about the thing that makes you angry, you can think of some good things. This method is very effective. You can also be involved in any positive activity. Your anger will go away with such activities.

Anyway, if you think positive or are engaged in positive activities then anger will be far away from you.

9) Count down to 50

Whenever you get angry, a very good way is to start counting up to 50 immediately. In this way, your mind will be distracted and you will be saved from getting angry.

Apart from this, you get involved in any activities to divert your mind. This is a great way to avoid getting angry. If the anger is high, then you can do this by counting up to 100 also. This is a practical way to vent anger.

10) Read Good Books and Play Games

To avoid anger, you can read good books. For this, you can read 7 or 8 pages daily from any such book which brings positive feelings in you.

Playing games is also a good way to avoid anger. It keeps you healthy and can feel good.

11) Listen to Music and adopt Meditation

If you like listening to music, then you should listen to it in your anger. You can also use meditation to escape anger. Apart from this, you can do a Morning Walk and yoga every day.

With all these positive activities, your mind will feel fresh and you will reduce anger.
